DESCRIPTION:For those of you who are unaware\, FamilySmart is a non-profit
  organization that offers free support to parents and caregivers of child
 ren and youth facing mental health and/or substance use challenges. With 
 lived experience at the core of everything they do\, they families feel s
 een\, heard\, and supported by offering connection\, support\, and practi
 cal tools when they need it most. They are also a part of our ICY team as
  well.\n\nFamily Smart would like to share with you some information abou
 t their upcoming online event\, honouring May 7th\, National Child and Yo
 uth Mental Health Day. This event is free and open to anyone.  This webin
 ar offers a compassionate look at how children under 12 experience and ex
 press deep distress&mdash\;including suicidal thoughts or self‑injury beh
 aviours\, and keeping connection at the centre.  The emphasis throughout 
 is on hope\, relationship\, and simple moments of caring presence.\n\n At
